Padres primed for season opener (MLB.com)

Well, after a couple charity game losses to the M's the Padres officially kick off their Cactus League spring training season this afternoon at 1:05. They'll be taking on the Anaheim Angels...or...um..make that the the Los Angelas Dodgers of the Angels of Anaheim..or is it the Angels of Los Angelas/Anaheim/Orange County/Santa Barbara and wherever else they can possibly market that team. Not that I've lost any sleep over it (no, my 10 month old is filling those shoes quite nicely these days) but I think I liked them best as simply the California Angels.
